Before you came to Belgrade, you probably heard that it's the best place for nightlife on the Balkan. And yes, the rumors are true – it's just amazing!
It has something for everybody and the season or day of the week doesn't matter – here party never stops.
Maybe you heard that the best parties are on the „splavovi" and you have a weight idea what they are.
Simple explanation it that they are clubs on the river. They are located on the floating rafts that are tight to a shore and doesn't move. Some of them are working during all year, and some of them only in the summer.
When warm weather comes piers are turned into a big party on the water.
There are so many of them, but the foreigners prefer club Freestyler and club Lasta, but others are amazing as well.
You should ask around about what music is playing where, because they are all different. Some of them only play foreign rnb or house music, while others have performances of the domestic popular singers and domestic folk music.

After that, the important thing to do is to make a reservation. Maybe you will think that there is no need because it's not a weekend night or because there are so many of them, but believe us - it's necessary.
If you drink too much or want to show off to your friends choose a better way than jumping in the river from the club. Yeah, it could be tempting, but potentially very dangerous. The water level might be low, so you can bump your head on the bottom or in the platform.
Also, the security doesn't look kindly of that behavior, so if the jump doesn't hurt you, they maybe will. In the end, no taxi driver will drive you soaking wet, so you will be walking home. All in all – jumping in the river from the club raft is a very bad idea, so don't try it.
After all, great music, dancing, drinks and a lot of beautiful girls every way you look will be enough to make you entertained.
To make the story short – river clubs are definitely the places that you have to go when in Belgrade!
