"Marinero" or "New Marinero" is unique restaurant on the river. A beautiful place where you can enjoy the delicious meals and top quality music program. The path that leads to this venue is paved with stones, and surrounded by beautiful greenery.

Here you can enjoy the smell of fresh flower in the spring, the view of a decorative wooden carriage, the shade of the parasols and the amazing view of the river. The indoor section is filled with white wooden tables and chair, and there’s also a room with armchairs, and comfortable sofas available for your accommodation. A small ship model that is placed on all of the tables presents a nice touch to the overall environment.

The word "marinero" means sailor in Spanish, which fits in nicely with the whole theme of our restaurant. The clocks located above the bar show the time in some of the great cities of the world, like London, New York, Los Angeles, Rio de Janeiro, Tokyo and Moscow, and in the middle of them is a clock with the local time. The sign that shows the direction and distance to Athens and Amsterdam, and maps that show the tidal way blend into the whole ambient.

The summer garden of "Marinero" will make you feel like you are in a sort of oasis, leaving you with a feeling of peace and serenity. The greenery, along with the sound of the waves, flowers and comfortable seating make the perfect combination for enjoying the view to the Danube river and try some of the many delicacies offered.

The menu at "Marinero" offers a wide range of sea fish, with fish chowder included. There are many traditional grilled meals, like cevapi, patties, pork fillet, steaks, chicken (a speciality is Indian chicken, with curry sauce and pineapple) and mixed meat.

The menu also includes breakfast, that will cost you around 300 dinars, and you can choose from omelets, French toast with cheese and chutney, fitness breakfast, etc. Some other meals are all sorts of salads, warm and cold appetizers, soups, sauces or the meal of the day. For dessert you can order a fruit salad, pancakes or ice cream.

On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays a band performs live, and you can indulge yourself with a glass of beer (at the price of 160 din), some domestic liquor, cocktails and many other drinks.

This restaurant on the river (splav) is open every day from 9 AM to midnight, except on the weekend when the music program starts around 9 PM. It is not advisable to bring children to this venue, and you have to be at least 20 years old in order to get in.
