Tavern "Perper Merak" is set in the space of the former restaurant "PerperLux" located at 18 Omladinskih brigada street in New Belgrade. "Perper" and Zorica Markovic joined forces to kept a 30 years long tradition of good service and top quality entertainment.

This tavern (kafana) is known for everyday live domestic folk performances by some of the most popular folk singers and bands. That is the main reason tavern "Perper Merak" host the best parties with a great atmosphere, affordable drinks and the pretties girls.

Zorica Markovic, one of the tavern owners, is one a popular folk singer herself, so it is not rare that she surprises her guests with a music performance of her own.

The tavern environment is amazing. It is located in a spacious place, very bright and fresh with light colored walls, brown wooden ceilings, wooden chairs and tables covered with white tablecloths. Big chandeliers give this room a great lighting during the late night parties.

The name itself suggests that this place offers only the best a tavern can offer. The capacity is around 250 people, but oftentimes that is not enough since this place is very popular and gets crowned really quickly, especially on the weekends. For this reason it is highly recommended that you make your reservations in advance.

In order to get in you must must be at least 18 years old. The reservations are valid until 11 PM on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, or 10 PM on Fridays and Saturdays.
